'One night at call centre' was published in 2005 by famous writer Chetan Bhagat.
I bought this book in Dec. 2018 after one of my friend forced me to read this, I was not a fan of Chetan Bhagat as I don't like the love story books, as my friend told me to read as it is a love story but with a different wrap on it. When he first told me that it will be consist of a call from God I changed my mind and purchased one quickly.
As I told you earlier I didn't like reading love stories much and Chetan Bhagat gave me one more reason for doing it so, at starting book start with a positive note, it was same a flashback story.
I was fine with the total number of pages books have but I feel the story was quite small than it was presented. I know we have to give some background to the characters but at a point of reading, I thought it was a bit lengthy.
The characters selected was good and support to the story but it was over lengthly sometimes I feel quitting the book due to it, there was some flashback in the story when the main character think past happenings with him.
Till almost 65% to 75% the book contains flashback and present day and I feel the main story started when they received a call and book starts gaining my attention on it, but I feel that the story was in bit hurry to end when I compare the first half and the book ended with a typical Bollywood style end with a car chase and proposal on road.
In the end, I would say the book was good and can be read once not more than it.
I would say if you want a quick read (I read this book in one day) or something different you should go for it.
I would give 5.5/10
